To empower our clients to dream big and achieve their goals by removing their physical limitations through comprehensive evidence-based evaluations and treatment programs. We believe in sharing our knowledge with our clients and the community so that they may live an active and pain-free lifestyle. We believe in sharing our success with our affiliated charities to further promote our cause both locally and nationally.
After nearly a decade of clinical practice, I have listened to the frustrations of athletes who have been given generalized recommendations and treatments from health care professionals who lack a sports medicine background. The old adage of “just rest and it will be fine” is not only incomprehensible to the athletic population, but it is also ineffective. Inevitably, the injured athlete will rest and return to sport only to find the pain return. Our mission in creating Fast Track is to address the need for sports-minded health care and to take services available to a new level. In pursuit of my mission, I have implemented the following features:
- A sports-oriented physical therapy clinic designed FOR athletes BY athletes. All clinical staff have extensive athletic backgrounds, allowing for customized treatment based on a specific sport.
- One-on-one care provided directly by a physical therapist. We do not believe in using ancillary staff to provide treatment.
- Emphasis on dynamic biomechanical analysis of the patient within the environment that is causing dysfunction. If you are having pain running, our clinicians will watch you run to determine the cause. If it’s pain at your desk job, onsite ergonomic assessments can provide improved alignment to resolve your symptoms. Traditional static evaluations are simply not enough.
- Sport-specific movement retraining is provided as well as specific training instructions as you return to sport. We also network with local coaches to provide thorough and consistent coaching to reduce training technique flaws and prevent future injury.
- Therapists evaluate their patients as a whole, not merely focusing on one body part. After all, it’s all connected.
