Kerri Kramer, MSPT, CEAS
Physical Therapist, Owner & Founder

Professional Profile: Kerri graduated from Ithaca College with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT) in 2000. She became a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) through the Atlanta Back School in 2008. She is currently pursuing her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) and Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine. She has worked in the orthopedic outpatient setting since 2000 with a primary focus in sports medicine and biomechanical analysis. Kerri is also a column writer on injury prevention for Tri-DC Magazine.

Athletic Profile: Kerri was a multisport athlete in high school playing basketball, softball, and running cross country. She continued on to play basketball at the collegiate level for Ithaca. After graduating in 2000, she began running marathons and later transitioned to triathlons. Her greatest athletic achievements are qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 2004, completing Ironman Coeur d’Alene in 2007, and qualifying for the USAT Halfmax National Championships in 2006 and 2008. She continues to compete in triathlons with Arlington-based Team Z.
Steve Berkey, DPT
Physical Therapist, Biomechanical Specialist

Professional Profile: Steve graduated from the doctoral physical therapy program at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. He has worked in a variety of outpatient orthopedic clinics where he specialized in manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, custom orthotics, and sports-enhancement. Steve is the founder and president of 90 Revolutions, an online resource dedicated to supporting the training, sports-enhancement, and injury prevention needs of endurance athletes. 90 Revolutions has teamed up with Fast Track Physical Therapy as a biomechanical analyst specializing in running assessments, dynamic bike fitting, and video movement analysis. Steve is also a column writer for Tri-DC Magazine as well as a blogger for the Endurance Digest and a writer for the DC Examiner on endurance training and injury prevention.

Athletic Profile: Steve played high school football until a broken femur lead to surgery, the end of his season, and his introduction into the world of sports physical therapy. Since then he has enjoyed recreational endurance sports and participating in team relay triathlons, most notably, the Bassman Triathlon and the Savageman Triathlon where he is proud to have conquered the Westernport Wall: a test of endurance and strength attempted by many and achieved by few! He continues to train and is looking forward to the upcoming racing season where, this year, his fan club (his wife, Jody) is joined by his newborn son, Elijah.

Eli Kase, DPT
Physical Therapist

Professional Profile: Eli graduated from the doctoral physical therapy program at the University of St Augustine in San Diego in 2009. As part of the program, he completed numerous continuing education courses including extremity integration, advanced spine and lumbopelvic analysis (S2, S3, S4), myofascial manipulation and more, preparing himself for the Manual Therapy Certification. Eli had the opportunity to work abroad primarily using PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) to assist neurological patients in recovery. He is passionate about making physical therapy more mainstream and having physical therapists be accepted as the practitioner of choice for neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction.

Athletic Profile: Eli was a competitive swimmer for 13 years through high school and community college and took up spring board diving in the latter part of his competitive career making it to California State Championships both years. He completed the LaJolla rough water swim at a young age and trained in the ocean while in PT school. He continues to swim with Masters teams focusing on both form and function while in the water. He loves to explore new activities and is excited to dive head first into the world of triathlons.
