He has spent his entire career working in outpatient orthopedics with an interest in sports medicine. Gavin has taken numerous continuing education courses for the spine, shoulder, knee, foot, and ankle. He has also completed all three kinesiotaping courses from the Kinesio Taping Association.
Gavin began as a multisport athlete in football, wrestling, and throwing sports. He quickly evolved into a pure strength athlete competing in Olympic lifting, power lifting and eventually strongman competitions. Due to injuries from lifting, Gavin has evolved over the years into an endurance runner. Gavin also transitioned in the last years into barefoot and minimal running. He is looking forward to his first ultramarathon and dabbling in triathlons.
