STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH,
STAFF MASSAGE THERAPIST
Jarrett’s professional career in human movement began in 2010 when he got his first training certification at the ripe age of 18. Since then, he has obtained his Bachelors of science in Kinesiology from GMU, has become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Functional Movement Specialist, and a Certified Massage Therapist. In his time as a body worker and performance coach, Jarrett has worked with athletes of all caliber, from professional to youth, as well as the general populations. In his experience, Jarrett noticed that often times the limiting factors to progress were pain, injuries and dysfunctional movements. It’s for this reason that Jarrett went on to study modalities such as Neurokinetic Therapy, Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) and Original Strength.
Jarrett was a multiple-time, state-placing wrestler in High School, but suffered a hindering knee injury and decided not to wrestle in college. Since then, Jarrett has filled his athletic void with mud runs, mountain biking and heaving heavy things. In his spare time, Jarrett enjoys reading novels (and Marvel comic books), doing anything outdoors and attempting to learn the bagpipes.
