Techniques We Use

 

Graston

Graston a unique, evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) that enables clinicians to effectively address scar tissue, fascial restrictions and range of motion through comprehensive training, resulting in improved patient outcomes.. 

ART

ART, or Active Release Technique,  is often called the "gold standard in soft tissue health care" that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements. ART is a very popular technique among athletes and is almost always found in the Ironman circuit and other sporting events.

Cupping

A pull from eastern medicine, we literally put special cups on your skin to create suction. We have had some success particularly with loosening up tight fascia (the thin layer of soft tissue around your muscles).  No fire here. Standard cupping only.
